Drew McIntyre made a surprise return two weeks ago by attacking Jey Uso and Sami Zayn by surprise. Attack on Jey, filled Sami with anguish to challenge Drew for a one-on-one match in Saturday Night’s Main Events.
Drew kept his streak of attacking bloodline members by landing a Claymore Kick on injured Jimmy Uso while he was cutting his promo last night. This made today’s match all the more Interesting.
The match had a quick finish
This was the very first match of Saturday Night’s Main Events. Sami Zayn started the match even before the bell rang by attacking Drew McIntyre by a surprise in the ring. The match had a fantastic start, with both superstars attacking each other fiercely. Sami showcased his moves like a gymnast while Drew threw Sami over the announce table with just his brute force.
The match was a very fast-paced one. Both stars pinned each other multiple times but none of them was ready to give up against each other. The momentum of the match kept shifting in both superstar’s favour alternatively.
Ultimately, Drew threw his Claymore Kick on Sami’s face which made the Honorary Uce faint and get pinned by the Scottish Warrior.
WWE trying to set up Drew’s future match with Roman Reigns
Drew McIntyre has currently taken out each member of the Original Bloodline except the head of the table and his wise man. Drew previously had the best rivalry of the year with CM Punk which is fueling even his current rivalry with OG Bloodline.
Roman Reigns currently has unfinished business with Solo Sikoa which is going to be dealt with on the very first episode of Monday Night’s Raw on Netflix with tribal combat for the Ula Fala.
But it seems Roman will not be able to rest even if he ends up receiving his lost respect back. Drew McIntyre can have a potential match with Roman Reigns in the future main events.
Lets’s see what plans WWE has for both superstars.
